I've been home for about five hours, continuously icing my ankle. I rolled it at mile 1.69. Yes, I went on to finish the 15K loop. In all honesty, it hurts like hell.
I'll be okay though and will post beautiful pictures (of the course) and all the details (about the rolls AND spills) when I'm not in so much pain and I can think more clearly.
Oh crappers. Glad it's the ankle (easier rebound) and not one of your running muscles. Looking forward to hearing how you made the rest of the 15k on a bad wheel. I'll send your injury club card to you.
I am 47 years old, happily married, a mom to a 24 year old daughter, a 25 year old step-daughter, and a 7 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog named Boomer. I've been road running for several years. In 2006, I was lucky enough to reconnect with someone from my past, an avid trail runner, (Dirt Diva). Because of this, trail running has become my new passion. I completed my first ultra-marathon in September, 2008. Even though my favorite activity is trail running with Boomer, I have recently taken up swimming and cycling too. My first triathlon was completed in September, 2009. So far in 2011, I've completed two 100-mile bike rides along with one adventure race. What's next? We'll just have to see.

I'm with Alice! Ice it til you can't take it. PT was good for me and my sprain - at least the manipulation and ultrasound were worth it. I haaaate it.
Rest and Heal. There will be other 25Ks for you to tackle...
Ouch! Get well soon. Hopefully the ankle will come back stronger than before!
0h no!! Ankles are the worst. Keep ice on that sucker. It's huge!
