- I am 47 years old, happily married, a mom to a 24 year old daughter, a 25 year old step-daughter, and a 7 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog named Boomer. I've been road running for several years. In 2006, I was lucky enough to reconnect with someone from my past, an avid trail runner, (Dirt Diva). Because of this, trail running has become my new passion. I completed my first ultra-marathon in September, 2008. Even though my favorite activity is trail running with Boomer, I have recently taken up swimming and cycling too. My first triathlon was completed in September, 2009. So far in 2011, I've completed two 100-mile bike rides along with one adventure race. What's next? We'll just have to see.

I have a german short haired pointer, but the fiancé is so protective of her, she's never allowed off of the leash outside. We're also in the middle of the city too, so even I'm afraid of the cars everywhere. You're so fortunate to have a well behaved trail partner!
