What's better than a bouquet of flowers?

Three window boxes full of them

I haven't run since Monday. Since my ankle was a little sore from twisting it on Saturday, I elected not to run on Tuesday. Then I went skiing Wednesday where my ankle was not an issue at all. I worked all day yesterday and today. So, I haven't run since Monday. I know a lot of you get your booties out of bed when it's dark and cold to get a run in. I just can't get myself to do that. Not running since Monday has put me in a slightly cranky mood come 5:30 tonight. After leaving work I had to go to the bank and also the grocery store (where, by the way, people need to learn how to count to 15!!).

Anyway, when I pulled in the driveway I saw that Keith had put beautiful tulips in all the windows in the front of the house. This brought a big smile to my face. I'm not so cranky anymore. ;)

I am running PCTR's Sequoia 20k in Oakland tomorrow. Christy still can't run so I am going solo. My goal? Same as it always is -- I don't want to come in DFL. I'll let you know how I do.

Until later.............

What beautiful tulips! I'm so jealous! I love flowers!

I so wish I could run PCTR Sequoia with you but at the rate my work day is going I'll be working until 2 or 3am! I know there is a PCTR race in March in So Cal-must do it!!

I know you'll have a great time tomorrow! You'll do great! But it is hard to run those by yourself!! I'll be running it with you virtually from my bed!! And I had a race planned for tomorrow-bummer!

I have no doubt that DFL is NOT in your future...at least not tomorrow anyway.

Have fun. You'll probably do GREAT with all that rest and all :-)

Your flowers look beautiful! To answer your question, the pic of the Nutella packets is from the World Market store, I wish I had that many in my cupboard!

Have fun today! The Sequoia Run looks beautiful I would have been there with you if I didn't have Napa tomorrow and then you would be assured to NOT be DFL! Next time my dear! ;o)

Nice tulips! I wish I could grow some here, but alas it -24C with the wind chill today. Sigh, maybe in another month.
