Spring has sprung

I *heart* Spring
I only had to work until 1:00 today. After work I came home and changed my clothes and took my little furry son to Garin for a nice, relaxing five mile run. Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons, especially for trail running.
I was sitting on a log while taking this picture of us. You're probably thinking that is irrelevant information, aren't you?

Well, when I turned to my left, this is what was staring at me, right at the end of the log! I said hello to him, he sniffed a couple of times, then turned and walked away.

Boomer is such a great trail running dog!

Christy has the OK from her doctor to start running again. Yippee! She started last Wednesday, two months after her accident. We have a running date Thursday morning. It will be so nice to have her company again. I have missed her terribly. Don't get me wrong, Boomer's great company but he is a male and you know how well men "listen". Sorry honey, but you know it's true. :)

Until later.............

Careful with the cows. Now is the time they are having calves and can get pretty defensive! Isn't spring great. We have actually had several days of warm temps and less than 30 mph wind.

That first picture is hallmark card gaw-geous! Nice!

Isn't it amazing right now? I am loving the Bay Area this week. Um, like I normally do. Only this time I love it in green.

I'm looking forward to running with you as well. I hopefully will be purchasing a camera tomorrow. I'm hoping that my pictures will turn out as nice as yours. These pictures are amazing. Everything is so green and vibrant!

I love the pictures that you post from your runs. It is definitely a great place to run and away from the business when there are cows wandering around...

Glad to hear your running partner is able to run again. I've had a few running partners over the last couple of years and it makes the runs so much more fun. The talking also makes the time fly by!

Most awesome cow picture of all time! Seriously! I even stole it!

Great run! I need to find a way to make my weekday runs on trails. It makes me so much happier than running on the damn bike trail (great dog watching there though!. Glad to here your Run buddy is back in top shape!

Yes, Lucy is little (35 pounds) most people think she is much bigger from her pictures. Me too. I am really as skinny as a twig, it is just the pictures that make me look fat. ;o)

Have a great week!

I know how hard it is to get a good pic with the pooch! I will try this technique sometime:-)

OMG Velcro would have gone nuts if she had been with you guys and a cow was that close!!!

Beautiful trail, of course, and I think you have a wonderful furry running partner! I sometimes think they are the best because they NEVER complain!!

I want to come up to Nor Cal and run with you guys!!
