I wasn't scheduled to work today but since I absolutely LOVE the people I work with, I made these cupcakes and brought 'em in to them.

- I am 47 years old, happily married, a mom to a 24 year old daughter, a 25 year old step-daughter, and a 7 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog named Boomer. I've been road running for several years. In 2006, I was lucky enough to reconnect with someone from my past, an avid trail runner, (Dirt Diva). Because of this, trail running has become my new passion. I completed my first ultra-marathon in September, 2008. Even though my favorite activity is trail running with Boomer, I have recently taken up swimming and cycling too. My first triathlon was completed in September, 2009. So far in 2011, I've completed two 100-mile bike rides along with one adventure race. What's next? We'll just have to see.

What the?! Where's our cupcakes. You know what I'm still thinking about, Tamara Johnson's pumpkin bread. So delicious. I'm so glad I didn't start at the aid station tent. I ended up there anyway in the afternoon and for the rest of the night but had I started there...I would have been toast.
Maybe I'll bring cupcakes to the next event the two of us are at.
