"Move Every Day" in 2010

Everyone in Blogger country is writing about goals for 2010. I don't think I have goals for 2010. However, something did come to mind today.

For 2010, I want to make a point of MOVING EVERY DAY!

That's it! Plain and simple.

Let me list the activities I like to do for exercise that also get my heart rate up:

Running
Hiking
Cycling
Swimming
Walking
Wii Fit
Gym classes

Out of the list, I can be sure to find one thing I can fit into my schedule EVERY DAY. Even walking Boomer will count. Our walks are never less than 30 minutes and if some days that's all I get to do, that will be good enough.

I can swim, do a class at the gym, or do Wii Fit if it's raining. Obviously I can do the other activities in the rain but I often won't because let's face it, who LIKES running in the rain and mud! So, I will have no excuse for not moving "today" because of the weather.

It sounds so simple, moving your body every day, but so surprising how many people won't do it. How about you?

Can you MOVE EVERY DAY?

Until later.............

Oooh love rain and mud . . . although I am picky. It has to start raining once I am already running. If it is raining before I start running then I don't like it. :-) That's a great 'goal' for 2010. I like it.

Love it!

My husband often says, "You cant work out everyday, your body needs to rest."

And I tell him while its not a good idea to do strenous workouts every single day, it IS important to just move. Our bodies were made to MOVE everyday.
