Update on the rescued woman

An email from "See Jane Run":

We have received numerous inquiries about the woman in the first wave who was rescued from the water.

We want to let everyone know she is on her way to a full recovery thanks to the amazing lifeguards and on-site paramedics.

Thank you all for your concern.

That is good news!

At my first tri in June, there was a woman I spoke to before the race, she was racked next to me and in the same swim wave. I noticed after I came in from the bike that her bike was still there as she had racked it. No wetsuit nearby...then when I came back to transition after the race had been done for a few hours to get my stuff...her bike was still there. I never found out what happened, but I sure hope she was okay.

Wonderful news.
Great job to you on your tri finish, Jo. You will easily beat that time next year (even if you decide not to take a potty break).

How's your body feel after the event?
