The day started off very cool and overcast. I have no idea what is up with our summer here in the bay area. It was about 60 degrees when we got there. It did clear up but I never took off my long sleeves. The dogs really enjoyed the cool air. Here are just a few pictures to share.
I'm actually looking forward to my Pilates class in the morning. And, get this - I'm going to swim laps again too!! I know! I can hardly believe it. For timing reasons this time, I'm going to swim first and then go to Pilates. I hope it will work out okay.
I have an appointment with Floyd tomorrow also. My ankle felt very good today. It feels better than it did before I sprained it three weeks ago. I have a lot more range of motion than I ever did after my last sprain in May. I still can't get over the fact that I ran a 50K in June with it the way it was. Pretty foolish, huh?
Until later.............

It is hard not to run.
You should improve quickly with the swimming.
It is good to see you back on the trail!! Nice pictures.
Great pics! Have fun with your swim and with pilates!
Bet it felt great to get back on the trail, glad the ankle is feeling better, and yay for swimming! That's great :D Hope your appt with Floyd goes as well as last time!
So exciting that you're back out there in the woods!
Time heals everything. Ain't it nice to be running again.
Damn girl, you hike with a busted ankle better than I run healthy. That is slightly rough on my ego but I am very happy for you! :o)
you always have the BEST pictures to share! Thanks for that.
You could always write Miguel a note and put it in a baggie tied to a tree where you think he's see it.
Wish it had been that cool for the Big Basin event...remember how hot it was that day?!!! Nic pics... and keep up the good work, Ann
Maybe Miguel was really an angel and doesn't really exist?!
I thought of you and all your ballpark food last night! The fiancé got Panda, so I finished off the fried rice with that, then picked up a giant beer and popcorn whole he went for ColdStone. He didn't like the icecream, so I ended up eating most of that, and pounding down the whole giant beer. I really needed a drink after working this week! So yeah, there was lots of ballpark food, and I was hurting this morning, but I want to do it again!
glad you're back out there. I may hit Chabot (for the first time ever!) this weekend.
the 50 is still a bit much for me. Still have some residual soreness off and on. Really strongly considered it though!!
Running around Chabot once or twice on Saturday is definitely within reach though. I live close, so I'm embarrassed not to have run there yet.
such beautiful pics!!!
